Rushdie is so correct on that one...a lot of myths were created in India to serve 'Useful' purpposes...all this Dalai Lama praying in mosque with a skull cap on will never be allowed in any form of Islam, but the image is useful...Amitabh & family, and almost all Bollywood actors paying visits to Peer mazars and graves, because the Peers were supposedly great saints and not Islamic radicals who spread Islam by any means....myths myths and more myths...myths.

I read some where the Kwaja of Chisti who Akbar worsipped raped Rani Samyogitha. I that true. we must check with Rushdie.
