government must take care Jawan Ajit Gaokar's family, instead of announcing 50,000/- or 1,00,000/-, govt should give education to Gaokar 's children or it should take care his parents up to their end, b'coz they gave their sole to our country, proud to be an INDIAN.....once again salute to Mr Gaokar

Actually, if I remember correct, a uniformed personnel when he dies in the line of his duty his family gets his salary (along with promotion etc.) till the date he would have actually retired (if he were not snatched by the cruel hands of death), and subsequently family pension. I may kindly be corrected if I am wrong.
