Man Landed On Moon. Really !??
by TheOneAndOnly on Jul 31, 2008 07:50 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

After All my Knowledge of Physics, I wonder, How Man escaped from the Earth's gravitational Pull And Reached the Moon ?
Then, How did he Manage the Moon's gravitational Pull And Safely Land on Moon ?
Did He Nosedive into the Moon or Did He Go Round the Moon a Couple of times before Landing ?

How did they Manage, In between the Two Gravities of Earth And Moon ?
Didn't the Sun's Gravity Pull it towards itself ? To Manage it, Did they use Fuel Continuously ? How much fuel was used ?

LANDING ON MOON:
To Land on Moon, One can Nosedive and get Crashed.
Else, Land like a Aeroplane or a Helicopter or a Parachut.

Was there a Runway Already built on Moon to land like a Aeroplane ?
Or Was there Air to Land like a Helicopter or a Parachut ?

How in any other way DID they Manage to Safely Land Against the Gravity of Moon ??

TAKE OFF FROM THE MOON:
To Raise from the Earth, One uses a Rocket or a Aeroplane. What is the Method used to take off back from the Moon to Earth ?
If Like a Rocket, How did they Burn the Fuel ? How much ? How did they manage the direction or angle of Taking off of the Rocket from the Moon ? Was there any Launch Pad ?

How did they escape from the Moon's gravity ? And How did they Navigate to the Earth's Gravity ? How much fuel was burnt to manage the Pulls of Moon, Earth and SUN ? How did they Smoothly Enter back into a Orbit around the Earth ?

HOW, With All the Precision or Reliability required ?

If sun's gravity pulls in, then we may not have moon for our planet.
Science is not a fixed fact. Debate should be there for its fine development for the mankind

I guess nosediving and crashing would not be possible, simply because the gravity of the moon is too little..not enough even to hold someone firmly on the ground. So to get down on moon the space craft must have descended down by controlling it's speed -- in such a way that it would neutralize whatever gravity is there but just enough to let it get down..but this is just a guess.

You are correct. This was exactly what had happened during Apollo Landings on the moon.

(Contd.)
IF ALL IS DONE :

What is that Technology or SpaceMachine used to Achieve All that ?

After 40yrs, why are they Not using the Same even within and around the Earth ??

Why are there Accidents of Aeroplanes ? Why are we Still Building Aerodromes investing Millions of Dollars, When Man could Land on any Random Waste Land on the Moon ? Why not do the Same on Earth ?

Why don't they use the Same Technology for All the Later Space Missions ? Why Columbia or Discovery or Challenger Failed ?
Why couldn't they use the Same Highly Reliable Technology and Methodology of Landing and TakingOff used in LANDING On MOON, Where the target was an unknown and some random piece of Surface of Moon ??

IS MOON LANDING Of MAN, REAL ?

MY Level of FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS, doesn't Allow that really happen.

CAN ANY ONE CLEAR MY DOUBTS ?

Please understand travelling in space is different that travelling inside the Earth. Before speaking people like you should learn.

They used Saturn V multi-stage rocket to send man to moon!

After 40yrs, why are they Not using the Same even within and around the Earth ??
What do you mean by that? Moon mission is different from space missions! Moon is too far out and it required 5 stages of rocket.

Why are there Accidents of Aeroplanes ? Why are we Still Building Aerodromes investing Millions of Dollars, When Man could Land on any Random Waste Land on the Moon ? Why not do the Same on Earth ?

We have accidents as jet planes move at a faster pace and fuel on board is causing the problem!
Osprey which is a hybrid of helicopter and aeroplane is still in test phase as
the technology is not totally reliable
where the jet propellers act as rotors for the helicopter and then turn horizontally and act as a plane!
If tht technology is perfected, then, we can land anywhere!

Space Shuttle was designed in 70s and it is to reuse the service module unlike Apollo missions where you cannot reuse the service module!
Yes, Moon landing is real!!!!!!

You need to pick basics in PHYSICS you can study more of NASA's K-12 program

If you look closely at the Apollo missions, their technology was not sophisticated and reliable at all!! They were very close to disaster....and about the accidents you are talking about, thats just so strange. Its like saying, why do buildings still fall when there is an earthquake? we are building them for thousands of years!

To escape earth's gravity the " slingshot effect" was used whereby the vehicle orbited the earth with increasing speed and then as it reached escape velocity extra thruster rockets were fired to go out of orbit . For landing on the moon once again the lander module detached from the orbiter and retro thrusters were used to slow down and land on a preplanned spot on the moon,s surface which was fixed by earlier observation of the moon's surface by fly-by space vehicles many times.on the.For returning , rockets were fired on the lander module into the moon orbit where it joined up with the orbiter and returned to earth .

Dhruba,
Most of the things you said are rubbish. Best comedy part is this one
"For returning , rockets were fired on the lander module into the moon orbit where it joined up with the orbiter and returned to earth"
