ITS NOT MODERN OR OLD. ITS A GODS NAME BEHIND WHICH U R RUNNING (MONEY), WITH WHICH PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD MAKE LIVING. I THINK U R NOT AN INDIAN

Friend, You know why i am writting because you said it is outdated name. I can not accept at all. Here in Abu Dhabi, UAE, i am working as HSE Manager with one French Company. I have same Laxmi name for my daughter who is two year old. Last five years i am working here. If you would like to know why i have given this name to my daughter because i came from small,tiny village of Maharashtra. To always rememberence of my village in my heart and mind, i have provided this name to my daughter because it is normally a village name and i am proud of that. I love my village and the people and don't want to forget them at all whether i am working in any part of world. So please i request you that don't think like this , i would like to keep my culture alive. Sorry for this if you hurt.

That is good that you want to remember your village and its people. But you should give back to your village and its people as it is affordable to you now. You can help the poor people in your village or anything for the development of your village. That will be a great thing and a model for everybody which will help india grow faster. I am sure your village will be an undeveloped area and have many chance to develop it
