Don't you depend on politicians to know if the nuclear deal is right or wrong for us.
China had already signed such a deal. India can withdraw from this agreement whenever it wants to withdraw and this will not lead to an immediate shutdown of the nuclear reactors. This agreement provides for the reserves of fuel supplies from USA and in the event of withdrawl of agreement , India will have to pay for all the reserves , that is all. This nuclear agreement also paves a way for buying many defence equipment which now comes under the list sanctions aaginst India.
Thus both USA and INDIA will be benefited by this agreement.
It is necessary for us to move ahead with the rest of the world and move in to a new era. USA capitalists would be benefited by selling much of the defence equipment which they can not sell now , without this deal.
India can be benifited by acquiring an equal status with a developed nation and a super power.
Communists always opposed every polycy that was progressive, they opposed when rupee was devalued , when computer industry was taken up and when liberalisation started. So do not depend on them.

This put all our nuclear plant even those used to make the bomb under international inspection. We as the Prime Minster said it will be prepetual meaning forever. Now Pakistan and China has not withdrawn a single nuclear plant from bomb making and put them under international inspection for civilian use, Why should we loose our bomb making capacity. International inspection IAEA means China, Pakistan have right to inspect our nuclear facilities and other facilities related to nuclear. When we are not gauranted a single item of nuclear technology from the West only if its laws allow it to its obliged to give after meeting all terms of agreement.
Further, we have achieved a breakthrough in nuclear and that is the commercial scale fast Breeder reactor which will give us a capcity to produce 500,000 Mwe of power without this agreemnt, but it upsets the balance of power meaning it produces excess plutonium for bomb making. his too will be under inspection because off the clause to inspect nuclear sites even if foriegn non-nuclear related material is on the sites. This is the main reason for agreement to castrate and contain Our country.
