Good for us?
by Harry Potter on Jul 11, 2008 06:08 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

George Bush said yesterday that the deal is good for both India and the US. It will be good to understand what is good for US in this deal if the deal is so good for India. Can someone explain?

business interests. there's huge market for US products in india because india's middle class population is equivalent to the entire US population. this is the main reason the left is objecting to nuclear deal because if US companies enter indian market, commies are feared they have to work hard to compete with us products.

also, US need a reliable ally in Asia region. who else is more reliable than India?
