I really wonder why the all powerful and most merciful creater wanted some "messengers". why he could not have revealed whatever he wanted to say for all to hear like the sunlight we all can see?

JGN, There is a Vedic Passage: "Asa(v) Adhityo Brahma, Brahmaiva Aham Asmi" = "This Sun is Brahman, I too am Brahman"!! Another passage: "Namaste Vayor, Tvamayva Pratyaksham Brahmasi" = Namaste to You oh the Air (we breath) You are the Bramhman, clear (to us)to see". No need for any "Messenger" or God's Son etcetera.
To me it shows that middle-east regligions are not spiritual but "organisational". They wanted a "well-knit team" that has to accept that their Prophet was the "Best" and "Final". In other words, they "are the champions" - all others are "mis-guided", "deluded", will go to "hell". By contrast, "Indian" religions, even Buddhism, never say, they are the "Best" or "Final". Nothing said about other religions being "false". they directly appeal to the spiritual side of an individual. No specific, universal rules except the personal sincerety and purity of an individual. Thus, all saints and prophets are equal. A Hindu can worship anyone of them. He or She can worship any one of the avatars, or more than one, as he or she chooses. Hence the apparent complexity of Hinduism, why non-Hindus are confused by it.

Tell me one thing. Why is Allah only the God? Why not Shiva, Brahma Vishnu? If your name is changed to say Zakir, or Mohammed would you become somebody else? What is in a name? Why does he insist that Allah is only the God? Is is this organisational political tactic?

Dear Ration: thats because Allah was one of many gods of the Arabs..Allah was simply given supremacy over others, and the monotheistic theory took off for its simplicity. Deep down Islam is as polytheistic as any, because it is the nature of man to seek God in all His manifestation. Islam therefore developed more as a doctrine of submission and obedience to a set of commands, claimed to be divine, but clearly coming from Mohammad and his Arab culture.

The very concept of true and false gods is flawed and smacks of God coming out as a gangster than divine. God should hv no problem understanding that all worship are due to him in whatever manifestation. Islam and the Semitic religions puts God in a box, creates confusion as true and false gods, like it were some product. The time for these religions are gone, which is why they are creating havoc. In time, it is Hindu spirituality that will mans relationship with God.

The all-powerful God could have given His word in every language to all humans at the same time! He did not need an angel to dictate to an idiot, and it took (apparently) 23 years to dicate a book full of silly stuff.
Come on-- wake up. It is allcooked up stupid books- Mooslems, wake up anddrink some beer, you feel better than reading your stupid book.

Accepted that he is not GOd. But how can any sane person accept that he is messenger of God just because he claims to be one?
