Sachin is a good batsman but he played many matches to make individual records instead of leading the country to win. We all are well aware of his inconsistent run scoring speed - scores at a normal speed when his score is below 40 and post-40 he plays a test match (even though its an ODI).
The BCCI is selecting him regularly for almost all the tours even though he is not totally fit. He has been constantly reeling with elbow injury.
He has not performed well in the recent past (including the Sri Lanka series, which has been a slap on the face of Indian cricketers, who doesn;t have the ability to play newcomers such as Mendis).
In the recent times, Sachin has been a big failure.
So stop praising Sachin and look for other players, who has enough potential to perform.

he is in the team because of the sponsors. BCCI is using his endorsements to mint money. Once his sponsors turn their backs on him, BCCI would be compelled to throw him out of the team. Till then, we have to tolerate this favorite liability...

dear mushtaq, please do some exercise on increasing your memory power...because u hv forgot his contribution in last best of three finals at Australia, in 1998 sharjah coca cola cup he scored 143 to qualify finals & scored 134 to win the final against Australia (ONE MAN ARMY)...these are just few significant example out of many.....
