We all have to agree that this is not a problem with just AP. Our country is facing the fundamental problem of regional parties which are not affiliated with any national party. Unless this changes people like Mr.Manmohan Singh can never work with full power and majority which is really really bad for the country.
Rather than whining about regional parties, there should be a system which works out with regional and national parties existing.
TIME to rewrite our books or constitution or whatever is required.

i think its appropriate to say tat there r too many parties...it will lead to fractured votes, nobody gets majority, lead to alliance politics, parties will differ in governance, parties will withdraw support, there will be elections and the cycle repeats...

But why are you taking away peoples choice from them...
You are trying to solve different problem by limiting political parties...

And one more thing..different parties happen coz of differing ideologies...at best there are only 3 ideologies: left, right and center...so anything beyond 3 parties is a redundancy
