nasa is exploring the facts mentioned in our ancient literatures veds puranas n etc.n we just keep on treating the literatures as fictitious. according to our shastra mars is son of earth , means they were knowing the facts of mars in detail.

Well said my friend ! Our "Vedas" said that mars took birth out of earth's womb. Mars is described as " Dharani Gharbha Sambutham vidyutkanthi sambutham"(dharani means earth, Gharbha means womb, vidyutkanti means mars made of iron particles, hence called RED PLANET). Thus Mars is a part of Earth and going forward, Scientists will realise the above, which was known to our ancestors before few centuries. JAI BHARAT

I am not shastri, but an engineer, but when i satrted reading abt ancient india and our culture. i found some surprising things which when compared to present discoveries,force us to believe that our rishis and devas might be having total knowledge of the universe. e.g ravana had pushpak viman which was claimed to be discovered in last century by americans.
