I see only 36 messages on Chandra Yan mission, whereas there are about 3000 messages on Thakeray episode. Are we Indians not interested in the scientific progress of our country or we are too much backward to understand what is happening. But then even as layman they ought to have more interest.I do not know why we do not have desire and will to learn more, increase our educational level instead of bickering in matters which draw us backward. When we shall think about the total Indian society in stead of religion, linguistic and regional parochialism

Dear Mr. Satish Saxena, I sincerely appreciate your comment. Yes, in Indian society Scientic Understanding is still far below. 99% of Indian population never feel the importance of Science and success been judged with the amount of money one has stored in bank. Indian Media both electronic and print are also responsible, as media never project the contribution of Scientists and therefore, most of the quality researches never like to work in India and prefer to work in either North America or Europe, where they are duely recognised.

I have been posting constructive messages in the past. But I never got good or bad comments, I do not know what was the reason. I would have liked even to get brickbats.Alas it was total disappointment. I thank you that you have grasped what I wanted to say. Yes media should play more active role in changing the Indian mindset even on the cost of losing a little revenue.

Just to satisfy your wish.
Most of the people do not understand these types of matters nor do they have anything worthwhile to contribute additionally. It is easier to talk about general topics.
It is to be noted that India has to mature considerably before one can have such expectations from normal public.
