let me say at the outset that i don't intend to offend or influence anyone. the views expressed here are entirely my own. i checked out slumdog.... yesterday and am still wondering as to how this film has got so much of acclaim. not to say that it's a bad film but really.... i have seen better films than these(lagaan,RDB,TZP,chak de...being among them). slumdog is nothing more than a masala potboiler. the acting's par excellence,the direction's brilliant but i seriously think the script could have been better. my rating's 3/5

sure. its your opinion. and that shows how ignorant you are. what improvement do you suggest in the script to get it to rating if not 5 then 4/5? how it would have been better.
and dont call it as masala potboiler. you have no right to deny the struggle and existence of slum people. It is insulting to say that their life which is full of struggle throughout just to survive is a masala potboiler. it is very disappointing and shocking. it is reality shown in movie. if dont believe then try to educate yourself and go to mumbai slum. dont you insult those people by denying their existence.

if you are feeling so bad go and adopt a slum. leave their and work for their upliftment dont just write blogs sitting in air conditioned room
