People are making a lot of comaprisons between Imran and harman, Jaane tu, connected very well with the audience, coz it had universal appeal, different shades of character are so close to real life, you dont get to see foreign locations, rich boy hero and all that expensive KJO type of drama,Simple story about middle class friends, Kudos to aamir for playing intelligent, having been in the industry for 20 odd years, AK knows what clicks with the audience, most of his own movies relating to common man bear testimony to the same. I really wonder which planet the baweja's were sitting while scripting love story 2050. I truly truly loved Jaane tu, Can draw similarties to my college life, only one difference.....my ex was not so like genelia and eventually left for the US. Imran should choose his roles carefully and be under the umbrella of mamu jaan for a while, till he matures a bit, genelia is very sweet and doesnt look fake, Also like to mention character roles played by Prateik, Boms, Rotlu, shaleen and Jiggy were enjoyble to watch,i wish best lck to jaane tu,,,,,,hope there is a sequel to it........
