This is a Golmaal with absolutely no “returns” The movie is an insult to the actors (however horrible they were) and to the audience. The Director and Script Writer assume that it is funny when the movie is painful to watch and listen to. Tushar Kapoor has taken his annoying performance to new heights with this movie. The comedy scenes drag on forever even minutes after the punch line is over, or repeatedly shown to get the point across. I guess if you get tortured enough, you will reach a point when you go insane and start cackling. Like that guy in the swimming pool who gets electrocuted 20 times or even more. Even Arshad Warsi had no option but to go with the over acting around him. There is that evergreen, “Lets show some Madraasis dressed in their Kanjeeevaram saris and white dhothis and make them talk in Hindi” funny scene which goes on forever. But then its ok to copy the “Athiradi” song from “Sivaji” (which was roughly based on Desperados) scene by scene, action for action and blow up some cars for absolutely reason and make that the most expensive song in the history of Bollywood
Arshad Warsi must be hitting himself for committing to this movie. I understand his condition, but atleast he got paid for Golmaal Returns. I sat through the entire 6hrs (felt that long) and still lost money, time and partial hearing.
