When was the last time SRK delivered a HIT when he has a bigger role than the herione?..
ASOKA? SWADES? BAADSHAH?? Has he ever given a hit when he is the main solo star??
All his hits are given when the heriones have EQUAL ROLE to him in films. DDLJ (Kajol) VEERZAARA, DilThoPagalHai (madhuri), etc etc.

Mister you are trying to demean someone without knowing the facts. Do you agree that his romantic movies don't have much script? Then how does it run? It gets a strong initial purely based on SRK's box office appeal just like it used to do for Amitabh in 1970s and 80s when his movies were devoid of scripts. Also, movies of Amitabh also had heroines with equal roles. Have you seen Great Gambler? Zeenat had an almost equal role to AB in the film. Same for Muqudar Ka Sikandar where Vinod Khanna or Rakhee had power roles too not to mention Rekha. What about Trishul or Deewar? Shashi Kapoor and Nirupa Roy had powerful roles too. A film cannot be made by having hero alone. But there is something in a superstar hero because of which audiences throng to see the movie. DDLJ was run purely oN SRK's charm and energetic performance in the film. Same for KKHH or Devdas. He is the central character in almost all his films. Hello, Grow up guys. Try not comapre this movie with romantic movies. This is a fantastic movie. There is lot to learn from this not only players but also etaire country especially sports officials. This is about the reality. After all its about our National Game.

Even commercially unviable films like Swades or Paheli do average business(note they were hits abroad) purely because of response just to see the superstar. So you are right off target and i think it is intentional as you are jealous of SRK when you say that he didn't make any of his movies hits. Also, what happened to JBJ or Dhoom or Tara Rum Pum PUm which were Yashraj films? Could they even get half the collections of what Yashraj movies with SRK like Veer Zaara or Mohabattein or DTPH (i am not even mentioning biggest blockbuster DDLJ)?????? And if you are in your sane mind you will know what was the factor in these films that made the films super duper hits!!!!!

Aarey Raju, u seem to be dubious as to whether Shah Rukh may be demeaned. You compared with Amitabh. He became superstar of his own, not made by media. Shah Rukh does not have that charishma like Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna or Amitabh Bachchan. Nor will he get their stature.

Honestly I say SRK's acting and movies are not worth watching. He is a overrated star & didn't deserve to be in top 10 heroes of today. He is not a natural actor & overacts too much.
If U want to know what acting is watch movies of Ajay, Govinda, Hrithik & Amir's movies.
