chak de is a good movie. but it is not what people are making it look like. I request every body please watch the hollwood movie "the Miracle". You will understand our hindi movie makers are far behind. The miracle is about the american Ice Hockey team's glorious win in Olympics against USSR. The film conveys a very strong and convincing message about the strength and belief of one person to make impossible looking win possible. In fact many scenes and dialogues of Chak de are directly lifted from the film "the miracle". Friends please watch the movie and tell me. We must appreciate good movies but we must ask our film people give us better quality films. rao c.r.

I agree with this. Also while watching the movie you can easily note an impact of 'lagaan' indirectly, like bonding a team of diff people with one motivation,1 player hesitant to co-operate etc. But ofcourse Lagaan is miles ahead.

you r write.. but just think, in lagan we watched cricket- Popular game in india... and lots of romance and songs... but in chak de we watched hockey - no one watches and in that girls hockey - which we never watched in our life ... with no songs no romance and with natural performance. whats up?

bahut acche dear, ghar ki murgi daal barabar, bahut acchi baat hai koi kuch accha karne ki kosis kare to usko badawa dene ke bajay, bahane dunde jate hai ki kaise unko nicha dikaya jaye... Tell me one thing y u guyes don't compare Murder, Jism, and other such hasmi's movies with hollywood movies, ki abhi to bahut piche hai nudity and kissing sceans mai, right... learn to praise good things dear.. see the moral behind movie... r u really indian??? this is my real name and only one email id... and bhai, i just like good moovies.. jara hat ke type, like seher(arshad warasi), black friday etc. and chak de is also a nice attempt, when indian hockey is facing such problems... you have to promote this type of movies... let ppl go and watch this type of movies... whats up?
