How can RS put "we" in his article and assume we all agree to what he says.

half of his films I dont even care If I bothered to watch them in theatre.

Because there are many who share his view, and because he doesn't care for a few like you, who never learn how to appreciate a good writing. Well, may be you should first go to school.
