It's really sad that bollywood has lost such an emerging talent. The loss is immense on the family of Ishmeet. However, my question to rediff is that why it is asking to pay homage to Ishmeet only. Nearly 50 person have died in the recent bomb blast... One soldier has sacrficed his life on the border of the country... should not we pay tribute to these persons also.... why the people of the country is baised in remembering, paying tribute and homage to people who are rich and famous.

Sanjay, while i share your grief. i don't think we are making a judgement call on whose life is more valuable. It's just that some people as Ishmeet touch lives of billions. They have capacity to make billions happy, billions smile and give billions a reason to wake up and be happy. Not everyone who lives and dies has that GOd given blessing. Ishmeet was most definitely special. He was even more special because he was actually not your TYPICAL celebrity stype eprson. he was SIMPLE. He was just your average guy next door but with GREAT TALENT and EVEN A GREATER HEART. Thats why.
