Lot of people taking ambien (sleeping pill) have committed suicide or attempted suicide. In other words it was a doctor assisted suicide. At least now the drug will be banned by the medical board hopefully,if not more people will kill themselves needlessly.

U R right. Ambien is also sold as Stilnox and Myslee. Ny friend's son who was taking ambien to help him sleep committed suicide. People taking it have committed bizzare actions while sleep walking. There are also reports of people on this medication committing suicide while sleepwalking. More info on Google search. Heath was an unfortunate victim of this dangerous medicine. No fault of Heath in this matter.

Whoaaa let people be. There has to be simple and painless ways of dying. Otherwise its anyways a crime, falling off a mountain or drowning is very painful. At least there should be some medicine which will put you off to sleep and you die in your sleep. There are people for whom life is miserable to the point that they dont want to live.
