sujatha is quite special to us all

sujatha is someone whom people like me touching half a century grew up with. He was a powerful writer who used simple tamil prose and a racy style could easily bring to life his characters whether it is Ganesh the sober lawyer or his flamboyant assistant vasanth in the perry mason type detective stories or the numerous characaters from future he created for his sci fi novels. Kasalavil oru ulagam was truly the first science primer for all bringing the future to the present generation. His social novels dealing with sex, teenage pangs, love triangles, quadrangles etc., area class of their own and there are not many of genre who could for instance describe a plane taking off the way he did or his imagination that the ancient tamil script would be used by future terrorists for secrecy or the stink and serenity of srirangam streets....there is so much he wrote and so much he made us imagine. Great guy, we will sourly miss. The tribute could be to translate his stories in languages to distribute to mores!
