We have better things to do as a nation
by Sharad on Sep 10, 2008 10:00 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

These lumpen nut job Shiv Sena does not have anything else to do. The majority of nation is living in poverty, under nourished. There is lack of education, health, and sanitation. There is rampant corruption. Don't these nut jobs from Maharashtra do not have anything else better to do?

By the way, constitutionally nobody can stop any citizen from going to or living in any part of the country. Of course, constitution and laws do not mean anything in this corrupt and lawless country. STUPID PEOPLE PROLIFERATE.

sir probably your parents have not taught you to behave properly. Instead of pointing your finger to some one( About whome it seems you do not have any knowledge) try to recall whether you have taken any social responsebility other than gathering somthing for you and your dear ones.

There is one question on my mind if you choose to entertain me.Say, two years ago before Raj bhau decided to speak out on this issue, were you aware/conscious of the 'gross disrespect' meted out by north indian migrants to the local cuture, local language and the local people. If not(i doubt u would admit it) then howcome this remarkable discovery was made so recently. Have the migrants started misbehaving just now?By and large any sensible person would be suspicious of the timing of raj's tirade. Is it sheer coincidence that as soon as he forms a new party, he happens to have this 'Eureka' moment where he realises that the UPites and Biharis are a pain in mumbai.i believe he has been in active politics for more than a decade and he served as a youth leader while he was in shiv sena. Then why did he not bringup this issue which seems so close to his heart.

You are correct Nakul. Creating the bogey of disrespect to locals by migrants is a family tradition. In the 1960s the South Indian Migrants and even those who were living for generations were ridiculed as "Yandugunduwalas" on the sound of their language; they were called madrasis and labelled as loongiwalas; their restaurants and businesses were looted; then gujaratis were hounded even those who were living there before the creation of Maharashtra; then muslims were hounded and killed. So Raj is only sticking to a family tradition. And as Mr. potdar says he has been taught by his parents to behave properly as this is "proper" behaviour in Maharashtra.
