Unncessary controversy
by nitesh shah on Sep 08, 2008 06:26 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

What is the use of creating unnecessary controversies? It is good she chose to speak in hindi than english. Though she poked fun at Raj Thackeray, why should people see red. Isn't RT known to be making statements. Why is he applauded then? I heard a news today that RT's son opted for German instead of Marathi as the second subject. Now will RT also condemn him for preferring a foreign language over his mother tounge. Language in any form bonds people. If RT and his men are real Indians and love their motherland, then they should fight the anti social elements who spread terror instead of wasting time and energy over petty things.

Raj Thackarey and others have been stressing on making Marathi compulsary only at school level. In Maharashtra its only till 10th that's supposed to be school life. The moment you pass out 10th, you step into JUNIOR COLLEGE. Neither Raj Thackarey or anyone else has said that Marathi be made compulsary at the college level. R.A Poddar is NOT A SCHOOL, BUT A COMMERCE COLLEGE.
