MESS OVER LANGUAGE
by dinesh dave on Sep 08, 2008 07:49 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

We live in a democratic country where we have our choice to stay where we feel like. Hindi is our national language and should get the respect it deserves. I also strongly feel, one should learn the language of the state where he lives. There is no reason for Raj Thackerey to do police-ing as a dictator. The way he is trying to force people speak marathi, it seems that something is wrong with the language itself. You cannot force anyone to speak any particular language. It should so happen that efforts should be made to inspire you to speak the language of the place where u live in. Mr Raj Thackerey is only causing distrubance which will only hamper the progress of the state.

People who want to stay in Maharashtra must speak Marathi.
Learn Marathi or Leave Maharashtra.
