What is the meaning of " I am from UP so I will do what I want"? Isnt this total dadagiri or behengiri in other words meant to ruffle some feathers in the political circles for some cheap publicity and a wrong timing to prove her point? Currently Mrs.Jaya Bacchan is not even 50% of what she was in her silver screen era...today people remember her more as a superstar's wife rather than the character Guddi she had so nicely played? Is she trying to get mileage out of such cheap acts...if that is the case I just think what would happen if all Maharashtrians speak such language as hers - would she feel safe to live here then? She might since she has Z security but has she given any thought to the lakhs of poor and decent people who have come here to make a living and see this city as a city of dreams? Does she take the moral of destroying their dreams before they are even realised or dreamed by making such statements? We, the people of Mumbai have made these filmstars what they are today. Marathis of Maharashtra have taken everything lying down thinking mumbai to be a cosmopolitan city but such statements can really take us to her path in no sheer time...we are adjusting by nature but that doesnt mean any one can come and make rules as per their wishes. Its time we Marathis start raising our voices for our rights and language. We need to show these people their proper place after years of lifting them on our shoulders.
