FYI, Rajni's Chandramukhi is also copied form Manichitra thazhu (malyalam) & Aptamitra (Kannada)

but manichitra thazu and aapatmitra are not famous . Only rajini did chandramukhi and then u people started knowing the original version. That is Rajini !!

No, absolutley wrong. Manachitrathazhu has been running on television for a decade in kerala, and all kearlites not only in kerala, but evn elsewere knows the movie.
Alot of people say tht manichitrazhu was the best out of all the versions, of course it's the original out of the lot.
Chandramukhi is nothing, rajinikanth is famous for everything, he doesn't need to prove a movie famous, only his fans come to watch him not the story or the actresses.
Chandramukhi ws a complete copy scene by scene w/all those songs and superstar stunts from kannada movie. Since kannada actor in aaptamitra ws a superstar, p. vasu suited the movie to him.
Likewise, p. vasu did the same to rajinikanth in chandramukhi. Come one, i don't rajnikanth needs to do any more movies, he shud just appear in reality shows, since rajinikanth is the only important part in his movies. Not story, actresses etc... Yes director is imp. b.c obviously he is the "director".

Absolutely Rajinikant is the only super star. Other so called superstars- Guys like SRK, etc are nothing but chillar in front of Rajni. If Rajni dint act in Chandramukhi, the original version would have been known only in Kerala (while Mohan lal is also a good actor)

Yes, big thanx to p.vasu for showing this kind of picture in tamil and kannada.
Evn though, both p. vasu's films did not give the story the psycotic thriller feel to tamil and kannada films, as it ws serious a film w/subtle humor and strong characters as in fazil's film in malayalam. Still he did a good job in presenting it has technically a good film especially in tamil.
Manichitrazhu was made in 90's so it ws just plain excellnt screenplay, story, characters, genre tht it ws made into. Evn till now, manichitrazhu is the still the best w.o a single technicality to it.
It ws unlike those exagerrated hollywood horror films tht ar finally ridiculd in scary movie series.
Anyways, p.vasu is entertaining director and like evry rajnikanth movie, only entrtainmnt counts and thts wht we got.

Tu chillar re.SHUT UP.Who wants to see tamil movies.Amitabh is the biggest star ruling over so many decades.Even rajni has copied from amitabh .Billa is copy of DON which made rajni superstar.So do compare them.
