I believe prashant deserves the win of indial idol...He is such a great and talented singer.he is simplistic and calm going person who can see hardly..it is very sad that some of the people in this discussion board wrote that he got votes by sympathy...it is absolutely unacceptable...he has such a good voice...at the same time...Amit Paul is a very good singer too and good competitor for Prashan...i was wishing that Prashant shd be indian idol and he got it....Even win or loose doesn;t matter obviously their destination is to be good singers...Even Amit should not feel as he might be getting offers from Music Directors especially from Anu Malik..who use to support all the time to Amit...i believe judges are against Prashant...but in this show people are the judges who elected the right person who deserves the win...Well Done Prashant and All the best!...All the best to Amit Paul as well and i believe your both friendship should continue forever and ever....

Arre yaar..how can you say Prashant is stupid..if he is stupid than Sony is stupid, judges who chose him for gala rounds are stupids and those who voted are stupid and those who watched this program are stupis and those who grumbles are stupid so therefore all are stupid.Hehehehehehehe.

i think u don't know about the music..... Even i am also not guru of music. But atleast I can think and make that how the singer is singer. Prashant is normal singer. if he had gone to take a part in Bathroom singer then he should win. hw had won the title because of his state.
SHAME TO THE PEOPLE who are voting not to good singer but to their state guy.

Excuse me...it is my personal opinion...why do we need to quarrel among ourselves....everyone has right to express their opinion...before pointing someone comments pls. thinkover once...i just wrote my opinion and didn't commented any of the singers in indian idol and i don't want to do that, like you do...be an indian..mera bharath mahaan...

I really do agree that Prashant is the will of the people as he won the majority votes, but you cannot compare him with the amazing talent of Amit Paul.Emon,Deepali,Pooja are better singers than Prashant, but they did't had the emotional support of the people. For me Amit Paul is the real INDIAN IDOL.
