even rajnikanth wanted his daughter aishwarya to marry the son of his close friend when he was an bus conductor......but she chose frail looking dhanush as her husband......rajnikanth went in to depression and gone to himalayas and didnt do films for a long time.......

( as per magazines and news papers version i am writing this, i am not a PA to rajni or next house to him !!! ) first of all rajni's daughter was in love with actor simbu, but due to the bad behaviour of simbu she married dhanush ( FUI : Simbu is the competitor to Dhanush in Tamil films ), so, rajni's daughter case is not the same as chiru's.
