Compare this case with Rizwanur Rahman case that shook Kolkata. There cannot be two yardsticks for two same cases. Kolkata Police Commissioner and two DCs were punished and transferred unceremoniously for intervening in the marriage of the consenting couple. Let the courts and people decide who is correct.

I will not be rude to you since you don't have your own mind to arrive at your own judgment. You are dependent upon the crutches of the media. The forensic report is yet to come. The CBI and the courts are yet to decide whether it was a murder or suicide. You people just hold the finger and walk. Try to storm your brain that the God has gifted you.

Would it have been the same had Priyanka Todi been the daughter of a billionaire Muslim tycoon and Rizwanur been a poor Hindu? Is a Muslim boy marrying a Hindu girl and a Hindu boy marrying a Muslim girl the same? Have you not heard about honour killings? Did police not do the right thing by sending Priyanka to her parents for some time to take stock of the situation and to eliminate the chance of any bodily harm?

These things happen all the time. Rizwanur got special treatment because of his minority status.

Reyaa, Do not be naive. They always get special treatment. Do you remeber Sohrabuddin fiasco? How bold and competent police officer had to suffer for protecting public safety.
