I think its a big mistake on the part of SLB to release Saawariya along with OSO; no ways can he compete with the king. SRKs pull @ d box office is simply too gigantic, gargantuan and colossal. It will be like David versus goliath. How can 2 fresh faces compete with a Star who has been ruling box office from the last 17 years?? Look what happened last year Jaaneman was pitted against DON, DON got all negative reviews, it was totally rejected by the critics, but still it managed to gross over 80 crores, Jaaneman with 3 big stars was totally swept away in spite of favorable reviews. Previously also any producer pitted a movie against SRK in Diwali has only regretted the move. And also Diwali has always been SRKs side; no movie of SRK during Diwali has gone with out making a mark.
SLB is no doubt a magician but hes still far off to understand peoples pulse. He might have got critical acclaim for Black but @ d box office it was average, it did well only @ multiplexes and single screen theatres. Hes best movie no doubt was HDDCS, Khamoshi was a flop, Devdas was a hit (Not a big one), black was average and now Saawariya. The utmost Saawariya would go is that as always and as in the past with SLB movies it will get critical acclaim but at the box office it may be an average or a semihit.
