The sting operation catrried out by a local nmews channel, showed that Rajnee paying money to rediff network. After investigation, it was found that it was a desparate move for publicity. As per south film federation, the much hyped movie is going to be released on 31st May and that too only four states of India.Apart from that for migrated tamil community, the movie will be released in US, UK and Japan. The AVM production wanted the movie to get appreciated on All India Level not a regional level.So inorder to make non south indians aware of who rajnee is and his films, the AVM production reported to be ready to spend crores of rupees. Some of the Industry experts claimed inspite of this advertisement, rajnee still will remain as regional superstar. We tried to contact Rajnee and AVM production bet were unable to get comments

im an outsider ... still i know ,, he doesnt need any publicity ..... i cudnt reason y tamils just fend off any northies ... now i know .... looking at all this abuse ... n rajni , is honestly better than anyone else ... dont look only at his over d top mannerisms ....he is truly mesmerising...
