is his debut into films in Kannada language - Katha Sangama. His character is powerful and the talented director Puttanna Kanagal got the best of Shivaji Rao (his former name). When I look at this move after thirty years.. I still think it is one of Rajanikant's best negative role. Partly because it was the language he grew up -- Kannada.
