Here is an indian actress who achieved her most ambitious dream of marrying a NRI doctor, had 2 kids and now is coming back to movies. Remember actresses like Mumtaz who had a disasterous comeback. Madhuri is definitely looking her age of 40 , I live in the USA and am older than her but still am mistaken as a sister to my own 22 yr old daughter. So what's the big deal!! She definitely looks haggard and sad, she leaves her husband, moves to Bombay with the kids and claims this way her children will get to know their cousins, when in fact all her siblings and their families are settled in the USA and that is why she was dying to settle here. Either these type of people think we forget or are stupid, as it is the bollywood types' stories change as per need. When she married this doctor he was still a medical resident- ie training in his field, and in India they were calling him a famous Cardiac surgeon--such crap only sells. They live in Denver, Colorado, yet they say she lives in Los Angelos, California. It is all hogwash and nonsense, maybe her husbands dollars are not enough for her and if they are she can donate her movie money to charity.

Renu - I am glad there are some observant and brainy people like you. Ordinarily I would expect everyone to notice all the things you mentioned but most people are so blinded by the media hype on personalities that they lose any sense of judgment. All your points are true.
To top it all she has been saying she has been in the USA for a decade and hence the pOllution of Bombay got to her and her kids. Yeah right!! Like we forgot when she came to the US. It has been less than 8 yrs. Why do people speak so much lies? And what you said about the doc is true too. Most likely she does not get along with him. And naturally so ....he had not seen a single movie of hers! That is thair level of connection. This seems a covert way of seperating. Tell the "foolish" Indians that she is coming back to Bolly cause she cant stay away (yeah like her job of doing a beta song or of dancing girl are such coveted jobs!!)

Oh yes I forgot she has only been in USA for 8 yrs, some of us have been here over 25, still we go back to India, enjoy with friends and relatives, not put up our noses--at the pollution, at the noise-because we know India, we don't put up airs that we are superior etc etc--this is what she is doing after a mere 8 yrs--and expects bollywood to give her special treatment and all, who in their right minds would take small children to the studios and that too for a all night shoot- she is as dumb as the comments she makes. Incidently I am originally from Bombay and know how much most people enjoy in Bombay and elsewhere in India. If anything Bombay is much cleaner and more beautiful than before. I know people who saw her shopping in Walmart when they were in Gainesville, Florida and also now when they are in Denver; their comments were she looked so plain and ordinary that they almost did not even recognise her and she tried her best to divert attention to herself. Is that pathetic or what ???

LOL Renu you are hilarious but so right!! I am also from Bombay and after 15 years in the US too, have no issues going back to Bombay and she is trying to put on all these stupid airs. Whats interesting is she is taking her kids to a damn studio and that too for a night shoot. However my doubt is she is using this as an excuse and in reality may not be getting along too well with hubby dear else no one will leave their hubbies to be in another country "dancing" for other men. Sounds so immatured. And her look too is as if she is copying Basu and Sherawat. No originality. She is comeing back for a disaster return. Hema and Rekha acted past 40 but did not try to feign as if they are 20.

all the comments here are so very true..no one would really come back leavng husband in other country for dancing and romancing other men in public..and taking so small kids to the studios..i thnk she couldnt tolerate the fact that ppl in othercountries dont give a look to her..comon shes had her share of fame,money,success y again cme back....ego dosent allow to settle elsewhere..bt now shes cme back she shd try different mature roles like juhi,rani,kajol,tabu who were far bttr than her in selecting roles and performing..she shd dance now acc to her age and nt the same choli ,xy dances (none wre the classics lk those of vyjanti,hema,waheeda,sri)..and yes in real shes very ordinary infact my frd dint recognise her at mumbai airport and blind fans r thnk her as some goddess and compare her to madhubala......sad thing..and yes she should do soem charity for the needy in india who has given her money,fame....these ppl really just think for themseleves..and if shes suffering so mch frm pollution and crwd she shd go back to US..these ppl jst cme here act,earn money, and go and live in rich countries doing ntg for the home country......v sad..ppl shd really understand there are many more gr8 women and men who do gr88 noble jobs and serve the country

Poeple like her cannot stay away from limelight because in the US no one knows her except Indians. She said recently that she will only do films that will be shot in the US as her family needs her, now she is doing the right opposite. As you pointed out, these people think that we have poor memory.

What is wrong if a married woman with kids fulfils her ambitions? If a family moved across countries because the husband got a new job, no one will bat an eyelid. If she wants to come back here and work(not that I am a big fan of hers) and the family is OK with it, it should not bother anyone.

Mu mail does not say that what she is doing is wrong. I just pointed out what she had said in one of the inteviews in connection with the mail written by Ms.Renu. Nothing these stars say about themselves should be taken serious.
