Please Guys, stop debating for some useless topic, they all wre entertainers, and they are doing their work properly, to reduce our stress, tats it, and y we should waste our time in debating for this small things..lets njoy the time and start thinking about our work. It seems to be iam advicing, but its the reality....

A.R.RAHMAN IS CHENNAIITE BY BIRTH. HIS PARENTS ALSO FROM CHENNAI ONLY. THEY ARE ORIGINALLY TAMIL HINDU MUDHALIAARS BEFORE CONVERTING TO ISLAM. HE EMBRACED ISLAM DUE TO SOME ILL FATE AFTER HIS FATHERS DEATH & DUE TO SOME MIRACLES HAPPENED TO HIS FAMILY THROUGH A SUFI SAINT WHEN HIS FAMILY WAS IN POVERTY. FOR CAREER SAKE INITIALLY HIS FATHER WAS DOING MALAYALAM FILMS & ASSISTING TAMIL FILMS TOO. RAHMAN STARTED HIS CAREER BY DOING JINGLES TO AD FILMS IN CHENNAI TILL ROJA (TAMIL MOVIE) GAVE HIM AN INTERNATIONAL BREAK. REGARDS

just stop this nonsense. Instead of discussing the person's genius and talent u r debating on the place of his birth. cmon guys dont go on this groupism kind of thing. Why can't u all just remember that we all are indians....simply indians and bye the way u ppl forgot to add Dr. APJ abdul kalam in the list u ought to remember him too.

Rehman is undoubtedly the most talented and innovative music directors of our country with an international class and flavour. But my friend it will take another 30 years to call him a LEGEND.
