Comparison
by angelo rodrigues on Jan 23, 2007 06:01 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

As far as Comparison... it needs to be drawn between people bearing resemblance. Agreed Amitji was outstanding and he took KBC to a certain level where its opponents could not even dream of...but it happened gradually...SO lets give Sharukh some time and lets c wat he can do with KBC 3....after all its just 1 episode old..ain't it???? and it's too early to draw comparisons.....

You are 100% true.. just after Sehwag got dropped, the next day on the first page of Times of India, there was a photo of Rahul, Yuvraj and Sehwag shooting an ad.. anyone can say that Sehwag being dropped was just an eyewash.. otherwise why the companies shoot him for an ad.. why Uthappa was dropped just after 3 outings after making the highest by an Indian on debut? BTW, I felt good when Airtel didn't continue with Tendulkar.

india is a developping country?, so as the cricket too!!!, our players will be developping and keep developping only until their retirement (that too in a bad manner). Does any one of our non-performers have guts to retire in between a series like the aussies, recently, two or three aussies went citing lack of self motivation/or for the sake of thier country or giving opportunity for young guns including a kiwi, nathan astle. its really bad that we cannot have the best 11 from the so called biggest populated nation for the one and only popular game of india!!!!

@Chandrakant,

You talk as though everone in India is patriotic. Since when did playing for BCCI equate playing for the country ? Some of them have played even when there was death in their family, played with bad back and whatever, and all that they get is inconsiderate, good for nothing Indian fans.

Indians cannot match Australian in physical strength, fitness and the endless stream of talented newcomers.
India will have to depend on tact, intelect and experience.
Australian technique is not applicable here.
Do our selectors and coach know that?

aussies always select the new players after enough experience in the first class cricket .thats why they have perfection in one or more fields.But our indian selectors select youngsters even without playing a single ranji match.and performance will remain for ane or two match.After that oppositions will find weakness in them.
