find out the facts....talavattom is directed by priyadarshan himself...all the movies he so called 'copies' are his own movies tht were huge hits in the south.but i do agree....they have been really spoiled in the hindi version.

well..just in case you missed out is priyadarshan seamlessly ripped every other movie of his from hollywood. Thalavatom ... One flew over the cukoos nest Boeing Boeing.... the same Abhimanyu...i am ashamed to say it had shades of godfather 2 The list goes on...even that movie with dilip was a rip off.. the guy USED to have a sense of originality and now he has completely lost it.

Hi MisS Deepa.. I should call ya beauty with NO BRAINSSS>. Can ya explain to me when did PRiyadarshan became the original Director of Hera Pheri Series in Malayalam. Same applies for many other siddique lal duo movies being copied by Dis Copy Cat ... His producer (apparantly it was sunil shetty) pay a settlement for lifting Bhagam bhag ( Mannar Mathayi Speaking in Malayalam)

priyadarshan spoiled it .. and the movies that he makes in hindi are not priyadarshan's original ones .. like for example hera pheri was a remake of ramjirao speaking and it was not directed by priyadarshan

Hi Sharon, I agree, he has copied many Mallu Movies & somewhere just hopeless eg Kyonki, Chupchupke, & Yeh tera ghar yeh mera ghar. But movies like Hera Pheri & Virasaat were 2 good. Even Innocent nor Mukesh could match the acting & the comic timings of Paresh Rawal.

The Writer of "VIRASAT" is Padmasree Dr.KAMALHAASAN and Kamal bagged FilmFare Award for it as Best ScreenPlay of that year. Priyadharshan had nothing to do except translating "Thevar Magan" into another Language.
