If you have been browsing the Rediff website off late, guess, you would have yourself noticed how cheap Rediff reporters and editors have gone - interms of overdose of coverage on AbiAsh wedding, follow up interviews with uncles, aunts and servant maids who were associated with Ash at some point in her life.
Sadly, for most of the people who look up to Rediff for some quality news, you have not changed and does not even look like admitting some thing terrible is going in Rediff inspite of so many readers voicing their opinions on your website.
How much was your coverage on the PSLV launch that ISRO did y'day. This was a very significant milestone in our space program as India enters the market space for commercial launch of satellites, which has a potential to bring in millions of dollors to our country.
Wish you had done a great front page cover for this historical event. Have you ever run an article on G Madhavan Nair, ISRO chief. You have run so much on Ash, Salman, Vivek Oberoi and their jaunts with Ash, Abhishek, Shilpa Shetty, Katrina, the list is endless.......Also you keep repeating who is the hottest model in India, Brazil, South Africa, Congo, Timbaktu and all the countries who you could identify in the World map.
Rediff was a great site 4 years back. You had great columnists such as Varsha, Kanchan Gupta, and many others who I could not recollect now. There was so much of information, quality news that was reported at that time. Only a handful of good columnists remain now - the greatest cricket jouro ever - Prem Panicker, B Raman - very good defence analyst. Even Rajeev Srinivasan - one of the few Indian patriots who lives abroad - has stopped contributing. He is the lone fighter for India against foreign media who propagate false info on India.
Apart from the excellent piece of news/info, what Rediff viewers got to learn in addition was the English. All of the above mentioned columnists have excellent command over English and could easily put to shame any English professor of repute!

Our (Rediff viewers) request to you - Pl. stop the Page 3 stuff immediately. There are others vernaculars whose only job is do this. Do not make your reporters to become a paparazzi. Bring back all the columnists. Run a good portal.
As an example, If I were you, I would have run one item, just one item, on the AbhiAsh wedding, just as what you have done for the ISRO launch yesterday. Infact you should have done the converse.

Absolutely true. And i don't understand that why do they have the colum on comments for every silly article. Just look at the kind of sleezy postings people are contributing. Rediff is only getting regressive and ruining its brand value... Sonali
