This is with reference to the film reviews written by your critic Mr. Raja Sen. Having read many writers in the past several years, undoubtedly he is the queerest of them all. After all not many reviewed Paheli calling it 'breathtaking' and as most people would agree it turned out to be anything but that. Of course as a critic one has a right to say express his or her opinion but at the same time one expects some semblance and logic to justify. Recently I saw Family and it was no where as bad as Mr. Raja Sen made it to be. He also called it Raj Kumar Santoshis worst film. Obviously he hasnt seen China gate. But the icing on the cake is the fact that rediff has a critic is that also dares suggest to Amitabh Bachchan what kind of faces he should make and I quote just a suggestion -- perhaps you shouldn't contort your face as much every time you pull the trigger. You end up looking a lot less Sean-Connery-cool than you obviously want to Am glad Satyajit Ray isnt alive else Mr. Raja Sen would have offered him some tips as well on how to make films. Kidhar se pakad ke laye isko maloon nahin.
