The ban is unjustified however noble it is in intentions and un-noble it appears to you. But neither the state, nor u are really correct. U impose ur own choices on the other people too. If u have to smoke, please do it when u risk only urself- passive smoking is becoming a giant killer now and every smoker has to take corrective measures themselves. Dont start comparing the ban with references to rioters, rapists etc because it is in bad taste and just reflects a sick desperation. The issues are really not related and shouldnt be used to incite public opinion in support of ur piece. The government was definitely too hasty in announcing the ban and that needs to be rectified. The glamourisation of smoking is a problem and cine-stars especially in public spheres shud try and play the role model that they actually are for many audiences- esp stars like Shah Rukh Khan who lights up on screen with his kid on his lap!! Please, its easy to protest bans and voice ur opinion against it, but repsponsibility comes from everyone. Making one party responsible for the disaster is just convenient but everyone knows it deep inside that it isnt true. Everyone shares the responsibilty.
