Mind you, most of the Metro people are from village background. It means, metros are encroched upon by Villagers of India. They enjpoy metro culture and that is the reason whhy industry should move to villages rather than concentrate on metros. But not upon agri land.

I will give my everything, if both me and my surrounding are benifitted for it.
We all know the emotions. So you are saying, if your son or daughter get a better living for your sacrifice, you are not ready to do it for them right??

if you give every thing for benifit of your surrounding, then you do not remain in that surrounding so how do you or your sons and daughter get benifit of that changed surrounding? Why fertile land of Singur? why not the barren land of Bankura, Birbhum, or Purulia

If you start thinking like that, how will the industry develop in this country?
It is the duty of the government to facilitate land for new industries, and Tata has done that only. It is the failure of West Bengal Govt and no need to blame Tatas..

you are absolutely correct. There are vast trac of barren, unfretile land in several other districts of West Bengal, why those lands are not utilised for industrialisation, taking away agricultural land is adding to the global food problem.
