NANO on a Highway
by S R Ganguli on Sep 03, 2008 01:39 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Considering the size and the light body, will someone tell me if Nano is safe on a National Highway in a crash or accident. I keep my fingers crossed. Will it be only worth for a joy ride within the traffic congested city roads or for shoppin within a short distance? Remeber first Indica had tremendous problems (in the differentials). Many Indica cars were recalled. Even Indica Vista of tomorrow's car is not comparable with Swift. Why did Tata wriggle out of HPL?

its not meant for highways, i dont think it can cross 60 if 3-4 ppl sit, forget AC. And definitely its not crash safe, but then none of India entry level car are.
