No Govt in Bengal now.
by abby Das on Sep 03, 2008 04:15 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It seems there is no Govt in Bengal now. Some industrialist saying "despite ..." and later bending his spine to her agitaion.CM saying we are 235 and they are 30 who would stop us and then getting stopped by the 30.The NH is blocked for days and police is just a mere spectator. The Govt can do nothing when the tatas threat to leave. It seems they are that tortoise whose hands and legs are inside the shell due to "Mamta" phobia. It seems She is the unofficial CM now and wha she says has to be ccarried out.

Buddhadev Bhattacharjee and his industry minister is looking helpless. I asked CM in a recent press interaction at ASSOCHAM in Kolkata that if the government is helpless then what will the industrialists do. He answered that if he forcefully break the Dharna, it may lead to another bloodshed like Nandigram, situation will be totally out of control and TATA's will definetly run away. People will blame the govt. for using power on opposition, everything will be messed up. To keep the negotiation route open, he is not using power and waiting helplessly. But the question is how long he should wait?

Correct. Buddadev is too non-violent Buddha. It is better to have Binoy Konar or Subhas Chakravarty as Chief Minister, who will do another Nandigram in Singur and get rid of this evil devil Mamata Banu and her Jamait-E-Crminals.
