Cash in crores have exchanged hands

1.) The land has been acquisitioned as per a law and not politician can turn that as it is governed by court.
2.) The 400 acres ( untrue) is scatterred all across the project site and unless the project is closed it cannot be returned.
3.) Even if it is returned, the land is not worth cltivating in the next 10 years as construction has already taken place.
4.) All polls across religions, population strata of West Bengal show that people are for this project.
5.) The Industrial lobby (Narayan Murthy, Bharti Mittal, Birla etc.) have openly supported this and pleaded for restraint.

What do you think is driving a bunch of 'MAD' people? it is cash in crores which has been paid by Maruti and Hyundai to stall /delay this project. Kindly note that the entire auto industry's small car segment and bikes segment would have ruptured with this product in the market by October. Hyundai has been grappling with a 800 cc car and Maruti is reducing costs, Bajaj is coming up with a similar segment car. Friends let us accept that corporate espionage in india is not so developed or else we would have heard about 'tehelka' like tape or video. Sirs, these are underlying themes which cannot be proved but perceived.

Completely in agreement with you on this matter. TMC never had the resources to organise a proper rally till such time as they started protesting against Nano. Suddenly they are flush with funds and are hiring people by the hundreds to protest against something which all common people are in favour of.
