In India there are so many taxes common man pay in everyday life. Like on petrol Base price is around Rs.22/-, custom duty approx Rs.2/-, Excise duty approx Rs.15/-, Sales tax around Rs.7/-. all these taxes goes into the pocket of goverment. Government is earning huge money in the form of tax but they can't pass that tax money collected, to oil companies.

On the other hand we pay service tax on phone bills, toll tax on road usage, house tax, and income tax, sales tax.

Common man is overburdened with lots of taxes. Government must lower the taxes and utilise fund much effectively collected in the form of different taxes. In our country money allocated for variuos scheme doesn't reaches to the needy people, it goes into the pocket of corrupt politician and official.

Political parties do not pay taxes on donations, MPs salary is not taxable. They enjoy everything free of tax and all the burden of taxes are on common man.
