I guess one of the editors in rediff watched the latest episode of man made marvels on National Geograhic. The article is timed just after the the television screening.

Don't think you know that many news channels/papers etc get their news from certain sources, which can be common to a number of outlets. Purpose of Rediff is to provide you with the news. What you are trying to imply is that McDonalds should breed its own chicken. If you don't know, then it does not. It gets it chicken from a source (a company that breeds chicken), buys it from them...this source can provide its chicken to other companies too (provided it is not against the contract with McDonalds).
