The real reasons for inflation and rising prices has never been said by anyone. UPA govt is misleading the nation. Due to nounting crude prices in US due to more consumption in war jones, all western country has deployed their surplus food stocks for production of bio-fuels. Consequently there is a increased food demand in west Asia. Indian politician through there shadow companies are busy exporting food to gulf contries to earn more. Moreover, PDS grains have been siphoned off illegally through Daman and Diu. UPA govt never bothered to ban export of food till very late and still they are exporting on one pretext or other. Therefore the food prices and other prices has gone up. UPA is amassing wealth for next general election. First they rigged stock market and now the food prices. To defame the BJP ruled states they conducted raids and found food grains of hoarders in FCI godowns. But someone should ask them that FCI is the Central Govt baby. What action they have taken against them. And moreover, it is Congress people who with the help of their Minister got the food grain stocked in FCI godowns

Low Agriculture production is the problem of state governments not the central government. Why Punjab and Haryana alone are able to produce 60% of India wheat, Rice and vegetables and and other states can't.Punjab and Haryana are the most united and technological advance states in Agriculture field in India. And other states don't have political stability and will to accept new technology.

i dont understand what is it about rivers and monsoon. in todays time even the desert countries are able to grow crops.instead of investing so huge in missiles ,a little amount can be invested in agriculture development. and subsidies and farm loan shuld only be given to co-operative farming, where by a huge number of farmers will pool there land together .it will result in more yield less cost and prosperity.
