the author must be an idiot, he is comparing with some of the worst countries in the world like zimbabwe,iraq and afghanistahn ,there are more than 150 countries in the world ,try to compare with some developing countries atleast the inflation calculation in india itself is wrong.most of the countries take the retail market price for their calculation whereas indian govt takes whole sale price index. this is very much misleading , if you take the retail price for calculation the inflation is aruound 11% now

the author here is not trying to present a comparative analysis .he is just putting facts about the 10 nations with the highest inflation rate.the author may not be well aware about the calculation part.but he is got his figures rite.
