The article says firms should treat employees better and generally HR dept. looks in to such matters.but at HR - it seldom becomes a cosidering dept.with common practice of having transperent schemes. Even in so call professional companies also HR is with more personalism than professionalism. Most of the times HR - is How to Reduce employee expenses dept. than Resourcing it.

I work for one of the big 5 IT co. I don't see any major HR involvement in work after initial recruitment. I think HR dept is not enough empowered in IT industry.
