MBA from one of the lesser-known B-Schools
by venugopal velloth on May 01, 2008 12:47 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

These days MBA (Much Below Average) are available dime a dozen. How good are they ? They do not have even common sense. The value of MBA is gone with distant education too. private institutions are giving such degrees for a cost and not in terms of academics. I do agree that most companies/banks etc are taking advantage of the loopholes in labour law and no one seems to be bothered. No one knows Shops and establishment rules. These young employees are not bothered too. All that they consider how much money in hand they get every month.

Other than the IIMs and three or more other Indian establishments, and even then, a few among the above, hardly any MBA grad is worth his salt.

MBA will only take you as far as your basic innate intelligence is sound- and not the intelligence to ace standardised tests.

I don't think MBA from IIM is also good.

Man, you need to think, act , execute and bring about results and remember you are going to work with people of all kind.

So your MBA can fulfill only few things.
