UK govt bribing the Saudi Royals to ensure they sell their Hawk aircrafts is not corruption?
UK football managers taking bungs (bribes) to buy/sell players is not corruption?

he he. Compair, compair & compair India with other countries and find pride that we are less corroupt or the causes of corrouption in India are the western countries. If nothing is found, blame other countries for running such campagins. For what reasons, by the way, will any country spend money and efforts to survey 180 odd countries to "blame" OTHER countries? Will our country run such a report to blame Pakistan being corrouption?

please put your house in order before you blame others.......I have been living in India not for few years but for many years......most corrupt people on earth, right from the judiciary,police,politicians,etc.......do not compare India with developed countries they for they do not 800 million people starving......and their politicians do not take public money and hoard wealth......kick backs are different from swindling pubic money which are meant for schools, roads, hospitals, infrastructure, etc

i actually tend to disagree/agree with both the views. Corruption is prelevant in all countries and i find it hard to believe that they can obtain a reliable to measure the same. My view is that a lot of places corruption happens without degrading the quality of the work...like the ring roads in moscow...might be that taxpayers money is being thrown out to bigger corporations whereas cheaper alternatives are possible. But the quality of the output is pretty good but in india, quality takes a hit because of corruption and so, it is highly visible and difficult to live through.
