Though a central govt employee myself, I do not support the proposed wage hike. The Govt employees do not deserve it. It is an unnecessary burden on the taxpayers. The economy would be hit like it was in the aftermath of 5th pay commission. There is no accountability, no work culture in most of the Govt. departments. But yes, do compensate the armed forces' personnel. The hardships faced by them, particularly the infantry people, can not be imagined by others.

arrey bhai ... the gap between public and pvt sector is getting bigger ... pvt sector wages are fueling inflation.
